The film received the Special Jury Prize at the 35th Alexandria Mediterranean Film Festival, which took place in October 2019.
The film addresses the suffering of the people of Gaza, particularly its youth, graduates, and the unemployed, who find themselves facing harsh choices due to the deteriorating social and economic conditions. It highlights the motivation of illegal immigration as a last resort, following the story of four young men attempting to leave Gaza and facing the dangers posed by migrant smuggling gangs at sea.
